MEMS - Summer school - August 29 - September 2
This summer school aims to thrive discussions among experimenters and modelers regarding the scales at which they typically work, the effects that have been measured, and the questions that can be most effectively tackled with a combined experimental and modeling effort. Participants will also discuss scale transfer from sub-individual experimental results to individual traits using DEB models, review the existing studies that combined experimental and DEB modeling approaches, and discuss how innovative experimental approaches could benefit from a DEB modeling approach. Objectif is to work on a review paper that will propose new approach where modeling contributes early on in the design of experimental studies.
